Mixed Berry Cobbler

SERVINGS
I’ve learned that one of my favorite types of bites of a dessert involves a warm, sweet bite of the dessert mixed with slightly melted vanilla ice cream. This Mixed Berry Cobbler is basically the spokesperson for my favorite bite.
I started out making two different types of cobblers, one with the berries mixed into the cake and one with a sweet biscuit over top the berries. This one won by a landslide. Those berries intertwined with the cake in each bite is amazing!
Best part of this one is that it’s incredibly easy. No mixed required and comes together quickly. Loving this one for the summer!

Mixed Berry Cobbler
Ingredients
2 cups total fresh blackberries, raspberries and blueberries
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup salted butter, melted
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
-
In a large bowl, combine fruit and 1/2 cup sugar.
-
In a separate bowl, whisk remaining 1/2 cup sugar, flour, baking powder and milk.
-
Pour melted butter into a casserole dish. Pour in milk/flour mixture but do not stir. Add fruit on top, but do not stir. Bake for 60 minutes until top is turning golden brown.
-
Serve warm or at room temperature. Also, highly suggest adding some vanilla ice cream on top of the warm berry goodness. So good!
