These little muffins are one of those things you kinda stumble into. I had seen these little muffins online for a bit but they were healthy, so ya know, probably gross, right? Then I looked and saw an almost too late to use avocado and a brown banana on my counter and knew it was time. So I put together a few recipes and added chocolate chips…because chocolate chips.
There is no added or white sugar in these, only maple syrup. Oh, and chocolate chips. But again, come on, it’s chocolate chips.
I was pleasantly surprised with these gems, so good! Leah ate two this morning and asked what they were. When I told her Avocado Banana Muffins, she exclaimed very loudly “AVOCADO?!?” She was amazed like I was.

Great recipes.
Thank you for sharing!
Of course, thank you!
How long would you bake it if you used a regular size muffin tin, and I added frozen blueberries.
I’ve never tried these with blueberries so it may affect the baking time. But for a regular size muffin, I would start at 16 minutes and check them and then add 1 minute if not done and check after each minute until done and a toothpick stuck in the middle comes out nearly clean.
How did they turn out? How long did you have to bake them?
How many ounces of avocado do you use. I buy frozen avocado and need an estimate.
Hi! I have never weighed them before making these so I am not sure on the ounces. I just used 1 large Haas avocado.
