A Mashed Potato Bar is a perfect way to take the popular side dish and make it even more delicious and fun. Offer guests a variety of toppings to make their own version of the perfect mashed potato. Baked Mashed Potatoes
5 lbs Russet or Yukon Gold potatoes
1 1/2 sticks Hiland Salted Butter, plus a little more for topping before baking
1 block (8 ounces) Hiland Dairy Cream Cheese
1/2 cup Hiland Dairy Half and Half
1–2 teaspoons Lawry seasoning salt
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon ground pepper

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Peel the potatoes and cut into fourths. Place the potatoes in a large pot and fill with water to just cover them. Bring to a boil and cook for about 25 minutes or until tender with a fork.
Drain water from the potatoes, dry off the pot and then return the potatoes to the pot. Turn the burner to low and mash the potatoes with a masher until smooth.
Add the butter, cream cheese, half and half, Lawry’s and salt and pepper. Stir to combine. Taste test and add more salt and pepper if needed.
Scoop the mashed into a large casserole dish. Place dollops of butter on top of the potatoes. Bake for about 10 minutes until butter is melted and potatoes are warm again.
