In a stand mixer, beat the butter and sugar together on medium-high speed until creamy.

Add the egg yolks and vanilla. Beat again for about 2 minutes on medium speed until fluffy.

Add the salt and flour, one cup at a time, mixing after each addition

Divide the dough into 3-4 parts and place in separate small bowls.

Add a few drops of desired colors of food coloring into each part of dough, Mix with spatula until desired color.

Top with your favorite types of sprinkles Then bake at 400 degrees for about 7 minutes.
