Lemon Curd. Holy smokes, lemon curd. This one came outta left field and totally surprised me at how amazing it tastes. I can’t get over it. Plus, no crazy long ingredient list and no 27 step process. One saucepan, 5 ingredients. My life is changed.
I have no idea why I even thought to attempt to make lemon curd, but it seemed like something fun to try. I found the recipe over at Taste Of Home and it did not disappoint.
Lemon curd seems fancy to me and I usually try to avoid fancy things. I would not use the word fancy to describe myself. But guess what? I’m fancy now because I made some lemon curd. And now I need to put it on toast, cookies, pastries, a spoon, all of it. Perfect amount of tart to sweet, silky consistency. I’m just SO excited about this stuff. I want to bottle it and give it away.
If you are feeling like you want to be fancy with minimal effort, then you should probably give this recipe a try. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Hi! This looks delicious! I can’t wait to make some! I want to use it for your lemon curd pound cake recipe, so I was wondering how much this recipe makes? Since the pound cake calls for 1/2 of curd. ?
I meant to say 1/2 cup of curd. ??♀️ The baby was squirming in my arms. ?
I know how that baby squirm goes! ? The lemon curd makes a good amount, about a cup or a little more. So you will have some leftover after the pound cake. (Which you will want to eat with a spoon ?) Let me know how they turn out! ?
