½ teaspoon kosher salt
½ cup vegetable oil

2 (8-oz.) packages cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
2–3 cups powdered sugar
