One of my FAVORITE flavors is that buttery maple brown sugar caramel flavor. It’s warm and cozy and perfect. It’s actually a pretty easy flavor to accomplish too. Brown sugar, condensed milk, butter, maple syrup are the major players. It never seems to disappoint me.

I saw this recipe from Olive and Artisan and knew I had to try it! The maple brown sugar caramel goodness poured over a shortbread crust and topped with some roasted coconut and powdered sugar for a slightly different type of sweetness. Oh man, these are GOOD!! She knows her gooey bars.

These would be perfect to take to a gathering or special occasion when you want all the compliments. And we all do, come on.
