Ingredients

4 tablespoons butter

1/4 cup (4 tablespoons) local honey

1 Tablespoons minced garlic

12 tablespoons fresh squeezed lemon juice (half a lemon)

4 salmon fillets

Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Place butter in cast iron skillet on medium heat. Stirring occasionally for about 3 minutes until butter is browned. Butter will begin to change color to a golden brown, have a nutty smell and the foam will go away.
  2. Pour in the honey and stir until dissolved. Then add in the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute. Add in lemon juice and stir all together.
  3. Sprinkle salmon filets with a pinch of salt and then place in the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes each side. Spoon pan juices over tops of salmon occasionally as well. Once finished, transfer to a serving dish.
  4. Serve with rice, noodles, veggies or a salad. Reserve the brown butter sauce to drizzle over top the salmon after serving as well.
