Ingredients

1 16 ounce box elbow macaroni (4 cups) You can use shells too)

16 ounces Velveeta, cut into cubes

1 1/3 cups milk, plus more if needed

4 Tablespoons butter

2 teaspoons Sugar, optional

Instructions

  1. Cook elbow noodles according to package instructions. (boil about 10-12 minutes) Drain pasta and pour noodles back into the same pot.
  2. Turn heat to low, add the velveeta cubes, milk and butter to the noodles. Stir occasionally until cheese is all melted. Add more milk if you like it a little bit “soupier” or more cheese for thicker.
  3. You can also add about 2 teaspoons of sugar and stir. I just learned this trick from my friend Dani and it’s SO good!!
  4. Enjoy right away!
