We consume a lot of peanut butter and jelly in our house. A lot. It’s a good meal, a good snack, it’s good grilled, it’s good cold or plain. All good.

Normally, Leah loves peanut butter and jelly And then one day, nope. It’s apparently the worst and how dare I offer it to her. Toddlers are fun. But then the next day, loves again. You know the drill. I have figured out that if I serve her the exact same thing but change up the way I serve it, then she suddenly loves it again. Again, toddlers are weird.

So the PB & J Roll Up was born. Easy, fun and super yummy! Slightly messy to roll, but you get to lick off the mess so everyone wins. I also found these fun little kid friendly “toothpicks” on Amazon and Leah has loved using them to eat.

Ingredients

Peanut Butter

Jelly (I love strawberry, but you do you)

Bread

Instructions

  1. Cut the crust off the slice of bread. Then you want to roll out the bread to make it thinner and easier to roll. You can use this with an actual rolling pin or just use a glass to roll out.
  2. Spread your favorite peanut butter on the rolled out bread then follow by spreading a thin layer of jelly over the peanut butter.
  3. Roll up the entire piece of bread. Next cut the rolled up bread into small bite size pieces or individual rolls.
  4. That’s it! Enjoy!
