If you are like us, you had a lot of candy left over after the fun of Halloween. Your kids have 8 pounds of candy or you bought more candy than you actually handed out to the kiddos. Obviously, I continued to eat piece by piece as I walked by the candy bowl but I figured there was a way to stop me from eating all the candy in the next week and at the same time, prolong the Halloween candy love by adding it to cookies and freezing them for future weeks.
These are super easy cookies and literally you just chop up a variety of candy and throw it into the dough. That simple.
The freezing part is the genius of it all. After the dough is mixed, you scoop up the dough balls on the cookie sheet as usual. Then freeze the whole cookie sheet, dough balls and all, for about 15 minutes. This hardens up the balls enough so they don’t stick together. Then you can throw them all in a freezer safe bag and take a few out any time you want a candy cookie fix.
Obviously, you can bake them all immediately too. I ain’t mad at that at all, you do you. I know you have all kinds of candy still around your house, give these a try and let me know what you think!

Perfect and fun way to use all that leftover Halloween candy. Grab your favorites and add them to my favorite cookie base. So fun!
