Why You’ll Love This Cold Brew Milkshake

  • Only 4 simple ingredients

  • 5 minutes start to sip

  • Customizable for your coffee and caramel cravings

  • Tastes like your favorite coffee shop blended drink—but way better!

Ingredients You’ll Need

  • Hiland Dairy Sea Salt Caramel Espresso ice cream – I love all Hiland ice cream flavors, but this one might be my favorite. Creamy and sweet, it’s the base of the shake.

  • Cold brew coffee – Gives a smooth, rich coffee flavor without bitterness.

  • Milk – Helps blend it all together. Any milk works—dairy or non-dairy.

  • Caramel sauce – For a swirl of sweetness and a coffeehouse vibe.

Optional add-ins: chocolate syrup, whipped cream, or a sprinkle of sea salt for a salted caramel twist!

How to Make a Cold Brew Milkshake

Step 1: Add 2 cups of Sea Salt Caramel Espresso ice cream, ½ cup of cold brew, ¼ cup of milk, and 2 tablespoons of caramel sauce into a blender.

Step 2: Blend until smooth and creamy.

Step 3: Drizzle extra caramel inside your glass, pour in your milkshake, and top with whipped cream and extra toppings.

Step 4: Sip and enjoy the creamy cold brew goodness!

Tips for the Best Cold Brew Milkshake

Use strong cold brew for a bold coffee flavor.

Adjust the milk depending on how thick you like it—less milk = thicker shake.

Add a scoop of coffee ice cream for an extra coffee kick.
Want to make it dairy-free? Use non-dairy ice cream and milk alternatives.

Make It Your Own!

This recipe is super flexible. Here are a few fun twists:

  • Mocha Milkshake: Add a spoonful of chocolate syrup.

  • Oreo: Add in a few Oreo cookies to make it a cookie milkshake

  • Frozen Coffee Float: Pour over cold brew instead of blending for a float-style drink.

FAQ

Can I make this ahead of time?
It’s best served fresh, but you can freeze the blended shake for up to an hour if needed. Give it a quick re-blend before serving.

Can I use hot coffee instead?
Stick with cold brew or chilled coffee so it doesn’t melt the ice cream too fast.
