Make these cute and spooky Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Spiders for Halloween! An easy no-bake recipe with candy eyes, pretzels, and peanut butter cups—perfect for parties or kids’ treats

Halloween treats don’t have to be complicated to be fun and festive! These Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Spiders are the perfect no-bake Halloween dessert that kids and adults will love. With just a few simple ingredients—peanut butter cups, candy eyes, and chocolate—you can make these cute and creepy crawlers in minutes. They’re the ideal treat for school parties, trick-or-treating, or a fun family night at home.

Whether you need a last-minute Halloween dessert or a creative activity to do with the kids, these little chocolate spiders are spooky, sweet, and so easy to make!

Ingredients You’ll Need

  • Reese’s Peanut Butter Pumpkins (or cups) – the base of the spider

  • Chocolate Chips or Candy Melts – to “glue” everything together

  • Candy eyes – for the spooky spider look

  • Pretzel sticks– for the spider legs

Step-by-Step Instructions

  • Unwrap the peanut butter cups: Place them on a flat surface or a parchment-lined tray.

  • Attach the legs: Break pretzel sticks in small pieces. Use melted chocolate to stick them to the sides of the peanut butter cup. Each spider should have 8 legs.

  • Add the eyes: Place a small dot of chocolate on the back of the candy eyes and attach them to the front of the peanut butter cup.

  • Let them set: Allow the chocolate to firm up for about 10–15 minutes before serving.

That’s it—you’ve got an adorable (and delicious) Halloween treat ready to go!

Tips for Success

  • Work in batches: If you’re making a lot, line them up on a baking sheet for easier assembly.

  • Use a piping bag: A small piping bag or zip-top bag with the corner cut off makes attaching eyes and legs super easy.

  • Make them ahead: You can prepare these a day in advance and store them in an airtight container.

Fun Variations

  • Use different candy bases like Oreos, Rolos, or peanut butter cookies.

  • Swap in colored candy melts (orange, purple, or green) for a festive twist.

  • Let kids decorate with extra sprinkles, mini M&M’s, or colored frosting.

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

  • Quick and easy – no baking required!

  • Kid-friendly – fun for little hands to help decorate.

  • Perfect for parties – cute, spooky, and guaranteed to disappear fast.

semi sweet chocolate chips or candy melts

Instructions

Prep a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and set aside. Unwrap the desired number of Reese’s PB Pumpkins. Set onto the parchment.

Break the curved pieces off the pretzels to use for the spiders legs. You’ll need 8 legs for each spider. Set aside.

In a microwave safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips or candy melts in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between until thoroughly melted.

Dip one end of the broken pretzels into the melted chocolate and then set onto the sides of the PB Pumpkin,. Repeat with all 8 pretzel pieces (4 each side). Set on the parchment to set.

Use a toothpick to dip into the melted chocolate and then dab onto the PB Pumpkin where the eyes will be. Place the candy eyeballs onto the chocolate dab and leave until set.
