Ingredients

1 box (16 oz) large shell noodles

1 lb ground beef

½ onion, chopped

3 Tablespoons Taco Seasoning- recipe below (or one packet of premade taco seasoning)

¼ cup water

1 cup Salsa

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Taco Seasoning:

3 Tablespoons chili powder

2 Tablespoons ground cumin

1 Tablespoon garlic powder

1 Tablespoon onion powder

1 Tablespoon dried oregano

2 teaspoons paprika

1 teaspoon kosher salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the noodles according to box directions, drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef and chopped onion together on medium heat until cooked all the way through. Add the taco seasoning and water, mix together. Cook on a low heat for a few minutes or until the water is all absorbed.

  3. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the beef. Then pour the salsa over the pasta. Mix together and combine so everything is covered.

  4. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over top and mix everything together so the cheese gets all melty.

  5. Ready to eat! We add crushed tortilla chips and more cheese to the top sometimes and it’s delicious. Enjoy!
