Yogurt Parfaits with Hiland Dairy Yogurt are a delicious and healthy way to start the day. The possibilities are endless with fruit, crunch and a bit of sweetness. Hiland adds a special live culture to their fresh milk to make a healthy and delicious yogurt. Lots of flavors for this irresistible snack.
Admittedly, I am not a good breakfast eater but yogurt is always a go-to breakfast or snack I know I can eat quickly and love. I also love any kind of goodies I can add to my yogurt to make it that much more fun. A yogurt parfait is the perfect way to have a simple and quick breakfast or snack with lots of fun add-ins. S'mores Yogurt Parfait
The S’mores Yogurt Parfait is a sweet treat that is filled with all the great parts of a classic s’more. Graham cracker crumbs, chocolate chips and marshmallows in between layers of Hiland Dairy Vanilla Yogurt. The perfect mix of smooth, crunchy, and sweet. If you are feeling fancy, you can toast the marshmallows in the oven to make it even more like the classic campfire treat.
Ingredients:
Hiland Dairy Vanilla Yogurt (or flavor of choice)
Crushed Graham Crackers
Milk or Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
Mini Marshmallows
In a bowl, cup, or jar layer the graham cracker crumbs and the chocolate chips on the bottom then top with a layer of vanilla yogurt. More graham cracker and chocolate chip layers followed by another layer of yogurt. Top it all off with more graham crackers, chocolate and, finally, the marshmallows.
Winter Yogurt Parfait
This Winter Yogurt Parfait is a little over the top in all the best ways. It’s packed with lots of healthy stuff in between layers of creamy Hiland Dairy Vanilla Yogurt. It has Winter fruits like Pomegranate seeds and green apple pieces mixed in with granola, pecans, dark chocolate and a drizzle of honey. Super crunchy, creamy and sweet all mixed into each bite. I absolutely love this Winter Parfait!
Ingredients:
Hiland Dairy Vanilla Yogurt (or flavor of choice)
Green apples, cut into small pieces
Pomegranate seeds
Granola
Pecans, chopped
Dark chocolate, chopped
Honey
In a bowl, cup, or jar layer the mix of granola, pecans, pomegranate seeds, green apple pieces, and dark chocolate on the bottom then top with a layer of Hiland Dairy Vanilla Yogurt. Even more granola, pecans, apples, pomegranate seeds, and chocolate and another layer of creamy yogurt. Top it all off with more of all the goodness or just do your favorites on top. Dig into this incredibly tasty and healthy breakfast or snack parfait.
Dark Chocolate and Raspberry Yogurt Parfait
How perfect is the combo of dark chocolate and raspberries? A little sweet with a little bitter is a fabulous little bite, plus it’s healthy…ish. Pair this classic combo with Hiland Dairy Vanilla Yogurt (or any other favorite Hiland flavor) to make a sophisticated breakfast treat. Topped with a drizzle of honey for a little extra sweetness to bring out all the fruit and chocolate flavors. A must try!
Ingredients:
Hiland Dairy Vanilla Yogurt (or flavor of choice)
Raspberries
Dark Chocolate, roughly chopped
Honey
In a bowl, cup, or jar start with a layer of raspberries and dark chocolate on the bottom then top with a layer of vanilla yogurt. More raspberries and dark chocolate on top followed by another layer of yogurt. Top it all off with more raspberries, chocolate and a drizzle of honey. You can always use chocolate chips or frozen raspberries as well. Enjoy!
Banana Cream Yogurt Parfait
My Grandma made the best Banana Cream Pudding. I have lots of memories of licking the bowl or scooping up the last bits with a Nilla wafer. I have her recipe, but it does take a bit of effort and planning so why not take the flavors of this classic dessert and make it a delicious breakfast.
Gotta have the Nilla Wafers and Bananas, of course but then we layer it in between layers of cream Hiland Vanilla Yogurt and top it off with a few coconut flakes, just because. The perfect bite of creamy and crunchy with the banana flavor mixed in.
Ingredients:
Hiland Dairy Vanilla Yogurt
Nilla Wafers
Banana slices
Coconut flakes (optional)
In a bowl, cup, or jar place a layer of Nilla wafers and banana slices on the bottom. You can lay whole Nilla wafers down or break them up, whatever you are feeling. Then top with a layer of Hiland Vanilla yogurt, more Nilla wafers and bananas followed by another layer of yogurt. Top it all off with a final layer of Nilla Wafers (I like to crush this layer up a bit) and bananas plus a sprinkle of coconut flakes if you like. A creamy, delicious breakfast or snack that you will definitely want to have again.
