WHAT’S FOR A SWEET TREAT?

Peanut Butter Balls- No Bake

Array/5
COOK TIME
TOTAL TIME
15 min + 1 hour chill time
SERVINGS
25-30 balls

I am new to the game with these little crispy peanut butter balls. I know lots of people grew up making these every year and I’m totally mad that I didn’t start making these sooner. They are so easy to make and incredibly delicious. And did I mention these are a no bake dessert.

I planned to share these….but we were a little selfish and they stayed in our house. Leah may have eaten most of them. Or at least bites of about 7. Toddlers are the weirdest.

So easy to make. Mix, chill, dip and sprinkle. I know a lot of people make these during the holidays, but I’m thinking these are going to be on my go-to dessert list for the rest of the year.

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups creamy peanut butter

3 cups powdered sugar

1/2 cup butter, room temperature

2 cups Rice Krispies

2 cups dark chocolate chips (you can use milk chocolate or semi sweet as well)

Christmas Sprinkles

Instructions

  1. In a mixer, mix the peanut butter and butter together on medium speed. Slowly add the powdered sugar a little at a time and mix after each addition until well combined.
  2. Add the Rice Krispies and mix on low until just combined.
  3. Roll about 1 Tablespoon size of the mixture and roll into a ball. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet and place in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
  4. Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave safe bowl for 30 seconds at a time and stir after each time until smooth.
  5. Remove the baking sheet and balls from the fridge. Dip the peanut butter balls into the chocolate mixture using a fork. Tap off any excess chocolate and then place back on the baking sheet. Use a toothpick to slide the balls off the fork.
  6. After each dipping, sprinkle your favorite Christmas sprinkles over top. Repeat with all the peanut butter balls then place in the freezer or fridge again to completely set for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Keep in a air tight container at room temp for about a week or in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
