I’m a Nebraska girl, born and raised. I didn’t stray too far when I went to college either, headed down to Kansas. Then went slightly East (but still not too far) and moved to Chicago for a bit. But good old Nebraska was still calling me back. Also, spent all my money on Cubs games, good food and St Patrick’s Day. Kidding. (kind of)
As a Nebraska girl, I love my beef. So I like to add a really good beef meal into our lives every now and then. Speaking of amazing Nebraska beef, we LOVE D&D Beef which is local to us. It’s literally a ranch that’s like 45 minutes away. Family run and their meat is the BEST.
Michaela with D&D posted about these sandwiches she made and I knew I needed to try them out. They are absolutely delicious and extremely easy. Slow cooker in the morning and then dinner at night. The thing that makes these sandwiches go from good to “holy crap, these are amazing!” are the Pretzilla pretzel rolls. Game changer!!

These sandwiches were soooooo delicious and so easy! I love using the arm roast for this recipe. It makes the perfect amount of meat for a family of 3-4. I added a sliced onion to the crock pot and a slice of provolone to the top of sandwich on hot beef so it got nice and melty. The garlic butter buns are genius. Why have I never thought of adding garlic in this way! The flavor is amazing for the ease of this recipe!
So happy you liked these! They are a favorite! Adding onions and provolone is a great idea, I need to try that next time! The garlic butter buns are a definite game changer! Thank you for making and letting me know how much you liked them!
