WHAT’S FOR dessert?

I love doughnuts. So much. And I love red velvet cake. Put the two together and add cream cheese frosting (gfoat- greatest frosting of all time. Yep, sure did) and you’ve got yourself a pretty darn good Valentine’s Day treat. Or a birthday treat. Or really just a Tuesday treat. Tuesdays need treats too.
These are ridiculously easy, baked doughnuts. So you can feel a little less guilty. I don’t know what your dessert guilt scale is, but baked doughnuts rank about a level 2 for me. If it has “baked” in the title, then it’s definitely below a 5. I might be a little more lenient on my scale than most people though. I mean, I said Tuesdays need treats too.
Give these a try and maybe surprise your Valentine with breakfast in bed or a sweet treat in their lunch. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think!

What do you mean by “fill halfway?”
You’ll want to just fill the batter halfway up the each mold in the pan you are filling up. It’s so the donuts don’t bake and go over the sides. Let me know if that makes sense. Let me know how they go too!
