I am so in love with these Mummy Hot Dogs. So simple and easy to do but with a major fun payoff. I showed these to Leah and she just started laughing. It was really cute. Then she proceeded to make them dance, the eyeballs fell off and it was belly laughing all around.

The belly laughs were awesome, but just as good was that she ate almost two whole hot dogs. Yeah, yeah, it’s not the healthiest lunch. But if you have a toddler, you know that you just want them to eat. Something. Anything.

Easy details below on how to make these fun Halloween Mummys! Be sure to take a pic and share with me @lolohomekitchen on Instagram and Facebook.

Ingredients

Hot Dogs

Crescent Rolls

1 Tablespoon butter, melted

Candy Eyeballs (optional)

Ketchup, mustard or favorite dipping sauces

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a baking pan with nonstick spray.
  2. Open and unroll the crescent roll dough. Cut a thin and long strip of dough. Take the hot dog and then wrap the dough around and around the hot dog to make the mummy wrap. Place on the baking pan.
  3. Brush the melted butter over the dough. Then bake in the oven for 9-11 minutes until dough is golden brown.
  4. Let cool a bit then dab a bit of ketchup where the eyeballs will be and then place your eyeballs on. Or you can always use two dots of mustard for the eyes as well.
  5. Serve with your favorite dipping sauces!
