BLT and Avocado Sandwich with a Tangy Sour Cream Sauce

This sandwich spread is simply made from mayo, Hiland sour cream, and mustard. It adds the creaminess and slight tangy flavor to an already delicious classic sandwich.

Ingredients

Thick Cut Bacon

Lettuce

Tomatoes, sliced

Avocado, sliced

Thick Bread

Sauce:

½ cup Mayonnaise

2 Tablespoons Hiland Dairy Sour Cream

2 teaspoons mustard

Pair with Hiland Dairy Dip and chips

Instructions

 

  1. In a large skillet over medium high heat, add several strips of bacon and fry until desired doneness. Once done, set aside on a paper towel lined plate.

  2. Slice Tomatoes and avocados and set aside.

  3. Sauce- in a small bowl, mix together the mayo, mustard, and Hiland Sour Cream. Spread on each piece of bread and then layer your sandwich. Lettuce, Tomato, Avocado, and bacon.

  4. Set aside a bit of the sauce to dip your sandwich into.

  5. Get your plate ready with your sandwich, chips, and your favorite Hiland Dairy Dip. I am loving the Toasted Onion Dip right now.
