Nothing is better than walking in the door after a long day and smelling that glorious smell of dinner being ready. And the smell of these easy crock pot chicken and noodles will make your mouth water.
You add your chicken into the crock pot in the morning with the soup then set it and walk away. Then a few minutes before you are ready to eat, add the other ingredients (even frozen veggies right on in)and the super easy crock pot chicken and noodles is ready to devour.
Can you throw the frozen chicken into this super easy crock pot chicken and noodles prep. Yes, yes you can.
So if you use frozen, you will want to cook it longer or on a higher heat setting on your crock pot. If you use thawed chicken, just set it for a longer amount of time or lower temperature. Easy.
In this recipe, I wouldn’t advise it. I say this because there isn’t as much liquid to cook the noodles properly or evenly. Other recipe you are able to add the noodles directly to the mix if there is more liquid to cook them. This one works out better if you cook the egg noodles separately. You’re in luck though, egg noodles cook super fast.

4–6 Chicken Breasts or Thighs
1 bag egg noodles
2 (10 ounce) cans cream of chicken soup
14 oz box or can chicken broth
1 bag frozen peas and carrots
salt and pepper to taste
1. Place the chicken, (frozen or thawed) in the crockpot. Pour the two cans of cream of chicken over top. For frozen chicken, cook at a higher temp for 6-8 hours. For thawed chicken, cook on low for 5-6 hours.
2. Once the chicken is done, use two forks to shred the chicken in the crockpot.
3. Boil a pot of water and cook the egg noodles according to directions. Drain and set aside.
4. Add the chicken broth and stir to combine.
5. Add the peas and carrots and then add the noodles and mix together to combine. Add salt and pepper to taste.
6.Serve warm and enjoy!
