This recipe is everything you want in a summer meal—fast, flavorful, and totally fuss-free. The chicken is grilled and then tossed in a mixture of butter, garlic, parmesan and parsley creating a ton of flavor in each bite. It’s packed with flavor and pairs perfectly with so many summer sides like pasta salad, grilled veggies, or corn on the cob.
Step 1: Prep the Chicken: Mix together, salt, pepper and garlic powder. Brush olive oil over each piece of chicken and then sprinkle the salt/pepper mixture all over the chicken as well.
Step 2: Cook the Chicken: Heat the grill to about 375 and then place each piece of chicken on the grill and rotate every 10 minutes until chicken is cooked through to at least 165 degrees.
Step 3: Prep the Butter Mixture: While the chicken is grilling, mix together melted butter, minced garlic, shredded parmesan and chopped parsley.
Step 4: Toss the Chicken: Once chicken is cooked, place it in a large bowl and pour the butter mixture over top. Use tongs to toss the chicken to cover.
Step 5: Serve: Serve with your favorite summer sides like potato salad, asparagus or corn on the cobb.

2.5lbs Chicken Drumsticks (or cut of choice)
Olive Oil
2 teaspoons Kosher Salt
1 teaspoon Black Pepper
2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
3/4 cup butter, melted (1 1/2 sticks)
1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic
1/2 cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese
2 Tablespoons chopped Parsley
1. In a small bowl, combine 2 teaspoons salt, 1 teaspoon black pepper and 2 teaspoons garlic powder. Prep chicken by brushing all over with olive oil and then sprinkling all sides with the garlic powder mix.
2. Place chicken on the grill (375 to 400 degrees) and rotate cooking chicken on all sides every 10 minutes until cooked through (internal temp of at least 165 degrees).
3. While the chicken cooks, mix together 3/4 cup melted butter (1 1/2 sticks), 1 Tablespoons minced Garlic, 1/2 cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese and 2 Tablespoons Chopped Parsley.
4. Remove the chicken from the grill and place in a large bowl, pour butter mixture over the chicken and toss to get all the pieces covered. Serve with your favorite summer side!
