If you’ve never had the small, crunchy broccoli bits after roasting, then you haven’t been living. I am fully aware that sounds insane. But seriously, they are so good and addicting.
Roasting vegetables is so easy to do and my favorite way to eat them. Roasting brings out the natural flavors and gives them a slight sweetness. Plus, the little crunchy bits are the best part. Eat them straight from the pan, best way.

An easy and yummy way to make broccoli for a quick side. No fuss, a few spices and great flavor.

olive oil
kosher or sea salt
ground black pepper
1 Tablespoon garlic powder
1 Tablespoon onion powder
1/4 cup panko bread crumbs

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Prepare a baking sheet with a drizzle of olive oil. Place cut broccoli spread out onto the baking sheet. Drizzle olive oil over broccoli.
2. Sprinkle broccoli with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and panko bread crumbs. Use your hands to mix the broccoli and spices all up so every piece is coated. Spread into an even layer.
3. Cook for 20-25 minutes until soft. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with the parmesan cheese and then squeeze the lemon over all of the broccoli. Serve immediately, enjoy!
