I like to think of myself as a sauce aficionado. This creamy parmesan sauce is one of my favorites because it’s delicious and so versatile. Use it over chicken, fish, steak, potatoes, or veggies. This would also be a delicious pizza sauce. Yum!
Creamy Parmesan Sauce is made up of only a few ingredients that you likely have in your kitchen already. Butter, flour, cream cheese, milk, heavy cream, salt/pepper, and shredded parmesan. Simple to make in only a few minutes.
There are so many ways to use this parmesan sauce, the list is as long as your imagination. Here are my favorite ways to use this creamy sauce.
This is a great base sauce recipe that you can add all kinds of flavors and additions to. My favorite flavors to add are: garlic, basil, cheddar, spinach, thyme, blue cheese.
You can keep any leftover sauce in an airtight container in the fridge for around a week. I would not advise freezing this sauce, it may separate.
To reheat this sauce, place in a skillet over low heat and warm. If too thick, add a little more milk to thin out.

Simple and quick creamy parmesan sauce that tastes amazing over veggies, protein, pasta and so much more!
4 Tablespoons butter
2 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 ounce cream cheese
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup milk
large pinch of salt and pepper
1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
1. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the flour and whisk together. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
2. Turn heat to low and add the cream cheese, heavy cream, milk, and salt/pepper. Stir together until all melted together and creamy. Add the shredded parmesan and stir until melted.
3. Spoon over veggies, protein, pasta or use as a dipping sauce. So easy and delicious!
