This is such an easy ramen noodle stir fry recipe. Perfect for a quick dinner on a busy weeknight. This is one of those dishes that seems complicated but in reality, it took me 15 minutes and I was doing other things at the same time, so probably wouldn’t even take that long. We had none left and I was contemplating making another batch just to have leftovers.

I found this easy ramen noodle stir fry recipe at Damn Delicious and I am so happy I did. This will be in our dinner rotation now. She also has a chicken version that I will be making next. It’s gotta be just as good.

I love when I find an easy dinner. Sometimes you just get sick of making the same things over and over again. Or you find something you like, spend a bunch of time on it, only to find out…eh. Just okay. Promise you, this easy ramen noodle stir fry recipe is a hit.

Grab some cheap ramen (doesn’t matter the flavor because you don’t use the flavor packet) and whip this easy ramen noodle stir fry recipe.

What else can I add to this Ramen recipe?

You can add a lot to this easy ramen noodle stir fry recipe. My recommendations would be veggies. Broccoli, carrots or peppers would be my choice. Any would work, just toss them in with the onions when you cook those in the pan.

Does this do well as leftovers?

It sure does! Leftovers are great for this easy ramen noodle recipe (if there is any left). Just keep it in the fridge in an airtight container and either pop it i the microwave or back in a skillet to heat up.

You can also freeze this dish for later enjoyment. Make sure to thaw it first and then pop it into a skillet to heat up and enjoy.

Ingredients

2 (3.5-ounce) packages instant ramen noodles, flavor packets discarded

1/3 cup beef broth (chicken or veggie broth is fine too)

1/4 cup soy sauce

1 Tablespoon rice wine vinegar

1 teaspoon Sriracha, or more, to taste (optional)

1 Tablespoon toasted sesame oil

1 pound lean ground beef

1 cup diced sweet onion

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 Tablespoon grated ginger

2 green onions, thinly sliced

1/2 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot of boiling water, cook ramen noodles until tender, about 3-4 minutes. Rinse with cold water and drain well.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together beef broth, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar and Sriracha.
  3. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and onion and cook until beef has browned, about 3-5 minutes, making sure to crumble the beef as it cooks.
  4. Stir in garlic and ginger for about 1 minute. Stir in beef broth mixture.
  5. Stir in ramen noodles until heated through and evenly coated in sauce, about 1-2 minutes.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with green onions and sesame seeds, if desired
