Homemade Pizza Rolls are the pizza change up you need in your dinner life. Super easy to make and you can add your favorite toppings. Premade pizza dough (you can make your own too, but if we are going for easy, then premade is my friend). 

We usually do some kind of pizza creation on Friday nights whether it’s ordered, frozen or make our own. Leah loves pizza and it’s fun to change it up and let her help too. 

These are easy because you just roll out the dough, spread your tomato sauce, add your toppings and cheese, of course. Roll them up and bake.

Homemade Pizza Rolls

Easy to make homemade pizza rolls with premade dough and your favorite toppings. Perfect for a delicious and easy pizza night.

Ingredients

1 tube pizza dough

1/2 cup tomato pizza or pasta sauce

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup pepperoni, chopped

1/2 lb Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled

1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. On a lightly floured surface, roll out pizza dough into a large rectangle. Brush with tomato sauce, leave about 1/2 inch on the edges.
  2. Sprinkle with the mozzarella cheese, pepperoni and sausage. Roll up the dough and pinch the seam to seal dough. Cut slices of the roll into 8 different rolls.
  3. Place cut side down into a greased cast iron skillet or greased 8 inch round baking dish. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  4. Bake for about 25 minutes or until dough starts to turn golden brown. Serve with extra warmed pasta sauce.
