All the great flavors of a classic S’mores in a frozen treat version. A mix of crunchy graham crackers, chocolate pudding, and a cream cheese marshmallow layer. Easy, frozen sweet treat for the summer!
The ingredients for Frozen S’mores are simple and make this dessert a sweet and creamy treat everyone will love! Here’s what you need:
Graham crackers
Instant Chocolate Pudding (make sure you get the Instant)
Hiland Dairy Milk
Cool Whip
Cream Cheese
Marshmallow Fluff
Salt
These summertime s’mores (or anytime, really) are easy to make with only a few steps. You’ll start by lining a baking pan with parchment paper then line the bottom of the pan with graham cracker squares.
Next mix the chocolate pudding (instant) with the milk and part of the Cool Whip until nice and smooth. Spread this chocolate mixture over the bottom layer of graham crackers. Chill while you prepare the second layer of the frozen s’mores.
Mix the cream cheese and marshmallow fluff together until smooth. I find a hand mixer works best to mix this layer together. Fold in the cool whip and a bit of salt until everything comes together. Spread this layer over the chocolate layer and then top with the rest of the graham crackers. Cover and place in the freezer. Perfectly delicious Frozen S’mores.
Yes, definitely. The regular pudding method takes cooking time for the mixture to become thicker and it just doesn’t work well in this s’more recipe. Make sure to get the Instant Chocolate Pudding version.
Make sure to thaw the Cool Whip well ahead of making this recipe
Make sure you buy the Instant Chocolate Pudding
Leave a parchment paper overhang when lining the baking pan. This helps to pull the s’mores out as a whole before cutting
Let the frozen s’mores sit out of the freezer for about 10 minutes before serving
To store extra frozen s’mores, individually wrap and place back in the freezer

All the great flavors of a classic S’mores in a frozen treat version. A mix of crunchy graham crackers, chocolate pudding, and a cream cheese marshmallow layer. Easy, frozen sweet treat for the summer!
1 (5.9-ounce) box instant chocolate pudding
2 ½ cups Hiland Dairy whole milk
2 ½ cups Cool Whip, thawed
12 graham crackers, broken in half
5 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
1 jar marshmallow fluff, 8 ounces
pinch of salt
Line a 9×13 baking pan with parchment paper and leave some to overhang off the sides. This helps to pull the bars out of the pan much easier.
Line the bottom of the baking pan with half of the graham cracker squares. Set aside.
In a medium bowl, add the chocolate pudding mix (make sure you use the instant variety), milk and ½ cup Cool Whip. Whisk together until smooth and creamy.
Pour and spread the chocolate pudding mixture over the bottom layer of graham crackers. Smooth out to make an even layer. Place the pan in the fridge to chill while you are making the other layer.
In a medium bowl, add the cream cheese and marshmallow fluff together with a hand mixer (or regular mixer) until smooth. Add the remaining 2 cups of Cool Whip and a big pinch of salt and use a spatula to mix and fold everything together.
Spread the cream cheese mixture over the chocolate layer and spread out evenly. Place the remaining half of graham cracker squares on top of the cream cheese layer.
Cover the pan with foil and place in the freezer for at least 6 hours.
Use the parchment paper to remove the smore’s and then cut on the graham cracker lines.
Taste best when softened out of the freezer for about 10 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
