Strawberry and Cream Waffle Dippers

We have a lot of frozen waffles around our house. They are easy, quick and yummy which is a perfect recipe for a busy morning. We have the usual syrup with our waffles which we love, don’t get me wrong. But sometimes you want something a little different. But still easy.

These are Strawberry and Cream Waffle Dippers. Only a few ingredients and mix all together then start dipping. We love these for a yummy change up in the morning or even for a sweet afternoon snack.

Ingredients for Strawberry and Cream Waffle Dippers

Only a few simple ingredients for this Creamy Strawberry Dipping Sauce. Add to a bowl and mix all together then start dipping.

Cream Cheese

Any cream cheese will work whether it’s full fat, low fat or the whipped cream cheese version. My first choice is the whipped cream cheese because it’s easy to mix with the other ingredients.

Strawberry Yogurt

You’ll need a small/regular container of strawberry yogurt. You can use regular or greek yogurt. I love using strawberry, but you can use any flavor of yogurt you like!

Powdered Sugar

Just a bit of powdered sugar to make this strawberry and cream dipping sauce a tiny sweet. I’ve never been mad about a tiny bit of sweetness.

Strawberries

Cut up fresh strawberries to add to the dip for an extra strawberry flavor and texture. You can use any fruit you like or other add ins depending on the yogurt flavor and your taste.

How to Make Strawberry and Cream Waffle Dippers

Step One: Add all the dipping sauce ingredients into a bowl

Add the cream cheese, yogurt, powdered sugar, and strawberries into a small bowl. I like to use a whisk to mix everything together so it turns out nice and smooth.

Step Two: Make your Waffles

Toast up some frozen waffles for this recipe and get them nice and crispy. Once done, cut them into strips in a good size for dipping.

Step Three: Start Dipping

That’s it! You are ready to dip and eat. A great mix of flavors and textures for a sweet breakfast.

Alternatives for Waffle Dippers

This waffle dip is so easy to make plus really easy to change up the flavors and make your own.

Try Different Yogurt Flavors

Any flavor of yogurt will work in this dip. Blueberry, mixed berry, lemon, apple, pumpkin, anything you are feeling.

Change Up the Add Ins

Try out different fruits that go with the yogurt flavor you choose or you could add other things like granola, chocolate chips, nuts, sprinkles.

What About a Different Dipper

My favorite food to dip with this recipe is a crispy waffle strip, but this dip would be delicious with pancakes or any kind of fruit as well!
