A slider might be my favorite type of sandwich mostly because it’s mini size. Plus, you can make a delicious slider recipe with all kinds of ingredients and flavors.
Possibly the most popular slider is a classic burger. A mini size burger on a small bun with classic toppings. The ingredients are pretty simple for this slider recipe.
You can really use any type of bread you like for this french dip recipe. Any type of mini bun will work. However, I will always suggest using Hawaiian Rolls. They are a bit sweet, the perfect size and 12 of them fit nicely in a casserole dish to bake all at once.

Lots of options for sides that would go great with this Slider recipe. My favorites would be:
We are a small family so sometimes we have leftovers to save for another day. The best way I’ve found to store these is simply in an air tight container. I love these storage containers for leftovers. These don’t freeze very well and will end up soggy when you try to heat them up.
The goal in heating up leftover French Dip Sliders is to get the meat and cheese heated and melty but not make the Hawaiian Roll soggy.
First choice is the oven. Do 300 degrees, place the sliders in an oven safe container and cover with foil. Heat for 10 minutes or until heated through.
If you don’t want to take that much time, you can heat these sliders up in the microwave. Heat on a 50% power and heat at 30 second increments.

2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce for topping
2 teaspoons onion powder
1 teaspoon ground pepper
2 Tablespoon powder Au jus (1 oz packet)
1 lb sliced deli roast beef
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally. In a 9×13 baking dish, place the bottom half of the rolls. Top the rolls with the slices of Provolone cheese, tearing in half to fit. Overlap if needed. Set aside.
